I have been listening to this channel since I started my inquiry into orthodoxy a couple years ago. It never even occurred to me to subscribe. I fixed that today :) I was received into the church by holy baptism last Pascha. This is absolutely beautiful. It is also awesome that it is a homeschool choir. I was homeschooled

I am am trying to learn this melody for my Vesper services at home but I am not that gifted. I am only able to memorize a melody if the text I'm reading is 100% the same as the one I'm hearing. I was at a Greek Orthodox Chruch in the San Francisco area the priest chanted this. It was my first time hearing this chant.

A wonderful discovery for me , Prokimenon as chanted on the first Sunday of Great Kent , then concludes with the great Pentecost . Begins and ends a wonderful season for all Orthodox Christians
